AI on your images
Today, AI in Catalog reads your images rather than creating new ones. On a product, Nucleo reads the product's photos and tells you what it sees: colors, attribute values, details no attribute holds, and a description. In the Library, Atomo takes on the organizing work for you.
Read what was seen in a product's photos
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Catalog > Catalog > Products and open a product.
- Click the Discovery tab.
- Find the Read from the images card.
The card has up to four parts:
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Garment colors | Every color seen on the item, with the colors of the fabric kept apart from the colors of prints and graphics. A black T-shirt with a multicolor print stays a black T-shirt. |
| Recognized values | Values seen in the photos for attributes your catalog already has. Values that agree with the product are marked as such; values that differ are marked to review. |
| Details seen · no attribute holds them | Details visible in the photos that none of your attributes records, such as where the logo sits or the type of pocket. |
| Generated description | A description of the item written from the photos. When it was written in another language than the one you're viewing, a Read in badge says which. |
- If the card says The images of this product haven't been read yet., there's nothing to show for this product yet.
- If it says The reading is not available right now., try again later. The rest of the product works as usual.
- On a product that hasn't been saved yet, the Discovery tab asks you to save it first.
Use what was read
The card never changes the product. The generated description doesn't replace yours, and no value is applied on its own.
- For a value marked to review, check the photo and, if the reading is right, change the attribute on the product. See Adding and editing products.
- To complete missing attribute values across many products, with proposals you approve, use Enrichment.
- Use the generated description as a starting point for your own copy.
Use Atomo in the Library
Atomo, the assistant panel, works on the Assets pages too. Ask it in your own words, for example:
Find the images of the SS26 campaign without alt textWrite alt text for the files in the Lookbook folderTag these files with SS26Move every file with lookbook in the title to the Lookbook folderRename the folder Shooting 2026 to SS26 ShootingWhich public links are still active? Atomo can find files, fix titles, descriptions and alt text, add or remove tags, move files and folders, create and rename folders, and list or revoke shared links. It acts with your permissions: it can't do what your role doesn't allow. See Using Atomo in Catalog and What Atomo can do in Catalog.
