Product assets

The Library is organized by folder. Product assets is organized by product: it lists every product in your catalog with how many images and videos are linked to it, so gaps in the photography show up before a launch, not after.

You find it at Catalog > Assets > Product assets.

Where product media lives

Product media lives in two places, each with its own job:

WhereWhat it's for
The product editor, Media blockThe photos your sales channels show for the product: add, reorder, remove. See Adding and editing products.
The Library, linked by SKUEverything else about the product: campaign, lookbook and editorial files. Link them from the asset page, or while you upload. See Link products to an asset.

Product assets shows the second kind: the Library files linked to each product.

Read the Product assets list

ColumnWhat it shows
ProductThe product's photo, name and SKU. Click the copy icon next to the SKU to copy it.
MediaHow many images and how many videos are linked to the product.
CoverageHow many product shots are linked, against a target of 6, such as 2 / 6.
Note
Files uploaded to the Library are editorial files: they count under Media but not under Coverage. Since product shots can't be added to Assets today, Coverage shows 0 / 6 for every product. Use Media to spot products with no files.

Type in the search box above the list to find a product by name or SKU. Below the list, use the arrows to change page and Rows per page to show 20, 40, 80 or 120 products at a time. The list shows 40 by default.

Tip
To check a set of products at once, paste a list of SKUs, one per line or separated by commas, into the search box. The list shows exactly those products.
