Merchandising
Decide the order of products inside each category, with pins, weights, guardrails and reusable strategies.
Merchandising decides the order of products inside a category: which products a shopper sees first when they open Sweatshirts or New in. You combine three things. Pins put a product at an exact position. Rules order everything else: a base order, weights on your commercial signals, and guardrails such as out of stock to the bottom. Strategies let you write a set of rules once and reuse it across many categories.
You work one category at a time in the workbench, from Sorting. A master pin, listed in Global rules, holds a product at the same position in every category it's in, without opening them one by one. Strategies keep the rules of many categories aligned.
