Recommendations

Decide what sits next to a product when nobody asked for anything: similar alternatives and the products that go with it.

Recommendations decide what appears next to a product on its page or in the cart, when the shopper hasn't searched for anything. Nucleo offers two kinds of logic. Comparison shows similar products: the same kind of item, where one thing changes, such as the color, the fabric or the price. Correlation shows the products that go with it, from another category: from a track jacket to its trousers.

You set both up as widgets: each has its logic, its rules, the products it must pin or never show, and the part of the catalog it applies to. The Playground tries them on any product, as any shopper would see them, and explains every result.

Note

Recommendations are built and tested in Nucleo. You can already choose the Shopify destination of a widget, but Nucleo doesn't write recommendations to your store yet.
