The Home page
The Home page isn't a dashboard to look at. It's where Nucleo shows what came in, from emails, calls, chats, deals and contracts, and proposes the next actions, ready to run in one click. Everyone has their own Home, focused on what they personally need to act on.
Brain opens on the Home page. You can also reach it from Home at the top of the sidebar.
Read the top of the Home page
Under the greeting and today's date, Nucleo says how many actions it proposes and how many are worth doing now. A row of chips sums up your day. Click a chip to open the matching page.
| Chip | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Tasks | Your open tasks, with the number overdue in red. |
| Deals | Your open deals and their total value. |
| Inbox | Emails waiting in your inbox. |
| Projects | Active projects. |
On the right, Ask Atomo opens the assistant panel next to the Home, so you can search, draft or ask without leaving the page. See Using Atomo in Brain.
Get Brain ready for your work
The first time you open Brain, a checklist called Put your Nucleo into production sits at the top of your Home. Each step connects one of your own accounts and explains what it unlocks. Nothing is mandatory.
| Step | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| Gmail (Inbox) | Your emails become suggestions, deals and tasks on the Home, and appear in Mail. |
| Google Calendar | Your agenda in Brain, and free slots for your booking pages. |
| Google Meet notes | Meeting notes and transcripts filed as calls on the right company, with next steps as suggestions. |
| Google Contacts | Missing phone numbers filled in on your existing Brain contacts. |
| Personal Slack | Your Slack channels and messages in Chat, with replies sent as you. |
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Home.
- In Put your Nucleo into production, click a step in the list. Its card opens on the right.
- Follow the card to connect the account. The step shows Connected when it's done.
- Optional: Click Skip for anything you don't use. To change your mind, open the step and click Undo skip.
- When you're done, click Finish and start.
Nucleo reads your emails right away and your Home fills up with your first suggestions. The checklist doesn't appear again. You can connect or disconnect accounts later from Connections.
See what Nucleo did while you were away
When Nucleo has worked on its own since your last visit, a banner at the top of the Home says how many things it did and over which period. Badges break it down, for example emails linked to the right records, calls filed, tasks created, notes added, contacts linked and suggestions prepared.
When there's nothing to report, the banner doesn't appear.
Read the suggestions
The heart of the Home is What Nucleo proposes. Each card is one suggestion, and it shows:
- What to do, and where it comes from, such as an email, a call, a Slack message, a deal or a contract, with how long ago.
- The records it concerns: company, contact, deal and project chips that open those records.
- Badges with the type of suggestion, such as New task or Reply, and, for emails, what the sender wants, such as Quote request or Question.
- A line that explains exactly what happens when you run it.
Cards are grouped by urgency: Do it now, Today and When you can. Starred cards stay at the top of their group. The feed loads 50 suggestions at a time; click Load more at the bottom for the next ones.
| Suggestion | What running it does |
|---|---|
| Reply | Opens the email beside the feed so you can reply. See Reply to an email from the Home. |
| Create task | Creates a task for you from the email, call or Slack request, with a due date and a link to the company. |
| Create deal | Creates a deal from the email with the company, contact and value when stated, and opens it. |
| Update deal | Updates the deal an email or call talks about: stage, outcome and a note on its timeline. |
| Draft quote | Opens the deal so you can prepare the quote the email asks for. |
| Link call to deal | Links a call's notes and transcript to the company's only open deal. |
| Open deal | Opens a deal that's past its expected close date, to decide the next step. |
| Sign | Opens the latest PDF in the email thread so you can sign it. The signed PDF is saved on the contact and company, and a reply with it attached waits in Drafts, addressed to whoever wrote the latest message of the thread with the others in copy. |
| Add to calendar | Creates a task on the day of an event worth attending and opens Google Calendar already filled in. |
| Open the chat | Opens a Slack conversation beside the feed so you can reply. |
| Link | Links an AI conversation to the company, deal and project it talks about. |
| Approve and publish | Publishes a proposed Knowledge page. See Reviewing proposals. |
| Confirm rule | Activates a proposed rule for automatic emails. See Automatic email handling. |
Act on a suggestion
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Home.
- Optional: To check the context first, click the view button on the card, such as View email, Open deal or Open chat. Emails and chats open in a side panel; records open on their page.
- Do one of the following:
- Click the main action, such as Create task or Update deal, to run it. Nucleo makes the change and the card leaves your feed. Some cards offer more than one action.
- Click Atomo to decide the details with the assistant first. Atomo opens with the suggestion loaded, says in two lines what it would do, asks what's missing and acts only after your yes.
- Click Ignore if the suggestion isn't relevant. The card leaves your feed, and any reply draft prepared for it is discarded.
- Click Pass to… if it's a colleague's job. See Pass a suggestion to a colleague.
Filter, search and refresh suggestions
- Click a source chip above the feed to show only suggestions from that source: Email, Calls, Chat, AI chats, Deals, Contracts, Contacts, Companies, Projects, Services, Alerts, Documentation, Events or Other. Only sources with suggestions appear. Click All to go back.
- Type in Search: person, company, word… to find open suggestions by person, company or keyword.
- Click Refresh to have Nucleo read your latest emails now. It also checks up to 25 of your open suggestions against what happened since, as described in Refresh a suggestion. The button shows the progress, and messages tell you how many new suggestions came in and how many were realigned.
Mark a suggestion as special
Click the star on a card to mark it as special. It stays at the top until you close it, and the Special chip appears above the feed to show only starred cards. Click the star again to remove it.
Stars work with Gmail too. Starring a suggestion that comes from an email also stars the email in Gmail. And when you star an email in Gmail, it becomes a special suggestion on your Home, even if you were only in Cc.
Pass a suggestion to a colleague
When a suggestion belongs to someone else, hand it over instead of ignoring it. Nucleo learns from it: it remembers who you pass similar suggestions to, such as those about the same company or sender domain, and the next time it asks whether to send them straight to that colleague.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Home.
- On the suggestion's card, click Pass to….
- Under Pass the suggestion to, click the colleague.
The suggestion leaves your Home and appears on your colleague's, who can also open the email behind it. When Nucleo asks whether future similar suggestions should go to the same person, answer yes to have them land on their Home directly, or ignore the question to stop it from asking.
Refresh a suggestion
A suggestion can become out of date: a colleague replied, the deal was already opened, the quote was already sent. Nucleo checks open suggestions on its own every hour, and you can ask it for one suggestion right away.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Home.
- On a suggestion that comes from an email, click the refresh icon next to the star.
Nucleo reads what happened after the email, such as later messages of the same conversation, deals, quotes, tasks, Slack messages and AI chats about the company, and tells you the result:
| Message | What happened |
|---|---|
| Already done: the suggestion was closed. | The work was already done, and the message says why. The card leaves your feed. |
| Suggestion updated with what is left to do. | The card is rewritten with what is still open. |
| Nothing new: the suggestion is still valid. | Nothing changed: the card stays as it is. |
Supervise your team's suggestions
Owners and Admins can turn on Also others' suggestions at the top of the feed to see the suggestions where a colleague has to act. Each card then shows who must act on it, and Cc only marks emails where the mailbox was only in copy. The switch is off by default, so everyone stays focused on their own work, and your choice is remembered in your browser.
On Confirm rule suggestions, Owners and Admins also see For the whole company, which activates the rule for everyone instead of only for themselves.
Use the right-hand column
Next to the suggestions, a column holds four panels. Click a panel's title to collapse it or open it again; your choice is remembered on this browser. When the Home is narrow, for example on a small screen or with Atomo open beside it, the column becomes a row of buttons above the suggestions, each with its count, and each button opens its panel at the side.
| Panel | What it shows | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Your tasks | Your next 5 tasks, with overdue ones highlighted. All opens the full Tasks list. | Everyone |
| Alerts | Open alerts that need attention, with their severity. Alerts with the same title share one line with how many there are, such as ×13, up to 5 lines; more types of alerts open from +… more alert types. Shown only when there are some. All alerts opens the alert routing settings. | Owners and Admins |
| Deadlines | Signed contracts ending in the next 60 days, with the days left. Contracts opens the expiring contracts list. | Owners and Admins see all contracts; everyone else sees the contracts they own |
| Board | Company announcements. | Everyone the announcement is addressed to |
Publish an announcement on the Board
Owners and Admins can publish announcements for the whole company.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Home.
- In the Board panel, click New.
- Enter a Title and, optionally, the Text.
- In Audience, select Everyone or Employees only. Employees only excludes people marked as contractors in People > Team.
- In Tone, select Info, Good news or Attention. The tone sets the color of the announcement.
- Optional: In Show until, pick the last day the announcement is shown.
- Optional: Turn on Pin to top.
- Click Publish.
To remove an announcement, click the trash icon next to it and then click Remove.
Considerations for the Home page
- Every morning, Nucleo can also send you one email with what waits for you, in order of priority: critical alerts, replies to give, tasks, deadlines and unread chats. If nothing is pending, no email is sent. See Emails and notifications.
- Suggestions come from the accounts you connected. If your Home stays empty, check that Gmail is connected in Connections.
- The While you were away banner is informative only: it doesn't offer a way to review or undo what Nucleo did.
