CMS

Edit, translate and publish the content of your company websites, and serve it to your own frontend through the delivery API.

The CMS in Brain manages the content of your corporate websites: company sites, corporate pages, news sections, for as many sites as your organization runs. It is headless: Brain doesn't render your sites. Your frontend, or your agency's, reads the published content through a read-only delivery API and displays it. Brain is the one place where that content is written, translated, versioned and published.

PartWhat it holds
SitesEach website, with its own languages, content, media and access tokens.
PagesThe page tree of a site, each page built from typed blocks, with one translation per language.
CollectionsRepeating content with a fixed structure, such as news, case studies or job openings.
MediaImages, PDFs, videos and fonts, each with a public URL and alt text per language.
Site settingsStatus, frontend address, SSL check, languages and delivery tokens.

Publishing is safe by design: a change is a draft until you publish it, drafts are never served, and each page publish is kept as a revision you can restore.

Note
Seeing the CMS needs the permission to view sites. Creating sites and editing, publishing or deleting content needs the permission to manage the CMS, which the Web Manager role, Admins and Owners have. See Users and roles.
