Sales

Follow every opportunity from first conversation to signed contract: deals, quotes, contracts, the documents you share with clients, and partner commissions.

A sale in Brain starts with a deal: the opportunity, with its company, contacts, services and value, moving through the stages of your pipeline. When the client asks for an offer, you create a quote on the deal; when they agree, the contract takes it to a signed agreement. Quotes and contracts always point back to their deal, their company and their contact, so each record page shows the whole story.

Signing a contract moves its deal to Won, turns the company into a Client and starts the project that delivers the work. Along the way, each deal keeps its documents, such as assessments, proposals and work orders, which follow an approval flow before they reach the client through a private link.

If you sell or deliver together with other companies, partners can be credited on deals and projects, and their commission rules turn signed contracts into a commission ledger.

Note
Deals, quotes and contracts each have their own view, create, edit and delete permissions. Approving quotes and marking contracts as signed are separate permissions. See Users and roles.
