Reviewing proposals
Proposals are how Knowledge changes without losing control. They come from colleagues, from Atomo, from what Nucleo learns in meetings and everyday work, and from imports. Area owners review them in Knowledge > Proposals, and they also receive them as suggestions on their Home, where Approve and publish publishes a proposal in one click.

The list opens on To review. Click the filters icon to pick an Area or another Status. On Knowledge > Pages, the to review button in the header shows how many proposals are waiting.
Review a proposal
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Knowledge > Proposals.
- Click a proposal.
- Read Why, and open the sources listed with it when there are some.
- Click Changes to compare the current page with the proposed version, or Preview to read the result.
- Optional: Click Edit before approving to change the text yourself. The proposal then shows edited by you.
- Optional: Write a Note to the proposer (optional).
- Decide:
- Click Approve & publish, or Approve with my edits if you changed the text. The page is published.
- Click Reject. The page doesn't change.
For an Archive proposal, approving takes the page out of use; it stays in the version history.
Approve all proposals of an area
When an area has many proposals waiting, for example after an import, approve them all at once.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Knowledge > Proposals.
- Click the filters icon and select the Area.
- Click Approve all in followed by the area name.
- Click Approve all with the number and area name to confirm, or Cancel.
Caution
Every pending proposal of the area is published at once, without reviewing each one. Check a few before you do it.Considerations for proposals
- Only the area owners, Owners and Admins can decide on a proposal. Everyone else sees only the proposals they sent themselves, with their status.
- Approving all proposals of an area also needs the permission to manage Knowledge in your role.
- Nothing proposed by Nucleo, Atomo or an import goes live without an owner's approval.
- Proposals from Atomo are written in your company's language, even when they update a page written in another one.
- The link to a proposal in your morning email opens it directly, in the right company.
