Managing tasks

Tasks is one list of everything to do across all projects. It opens on My tasks, the open tasks assigned to you; switch to Everyone to see the whole team's work. Each row shows where the task came from, so you know why it's there.

You need access to Tasks in your role to see the page, and permission to manage tasks to add, complete or delete them.

Manage a task with Atomo

To change a task's assignee, due date, priority or status, or to merge duplicates, use Atomo. It opens with the task as context, checks for duplicates, proposes in two lines what to do and acts once you agree.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Brain > Tasks.
  2. On the task's row, click the Atomo icon (Manage with Atomo).
  3. Read Atomo's proposal in the panel, and tell it what you want, for example move it to Friday and set it to high priority.
  4. Confirm when Atomo asks. It makes the change and confirms in one line.
Tip
You can also edit a task from the plan of its project. See Project setup.

Delete a task

Steps

  1. On the task's row, click the trash icon.
  2. In the confirmation, click Delete.
Caution
Deleting a task also removes it from the project plan, and it can't be undone.

Import tasks from Asana

If your company works in Asana, connect it in Connections. Projects and tasks are then imported regularly, with Asana as their origin.

To pull the latest right away, click Import from Asana at the top of the Tasks list. A message tells you when the import has finished.
