Settings
All of Nucleo's settings open from one place: Settings, at the bottom of the sidebar. Clicking it opens a panel next to the sidebar. At the top of the panel is your company, with its own pages: Users, Plan, Atomo and Connections. Below a line come the settings of the module you entered from, grouped by subject.
Your company's pages are for company administrators: people whose company role is Admin. Everyone else sees only the module's settings, and what they can change there depends on their role in the module. Your personal settings aren't in this panel: they're in your Profile.
Open and leave Settings
Steps
- In Nucleo, click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. The sidebar shrinks to icons and the Settings panel opens next to it, on the first settings page of the module you're in.
- In the panel, click the page you need. Under your company's name and the number of its active modules are Users, Plan, Atomo and Connections; below the line are the groups of the module.
- When a group has more than one page, the pages appear as tabs at the top of the page. Click a tab to switch.
- To leave Settings, click the arrow next to Settings at the top of the panel. You go back to the page you were working on.
Company administrators can also open the company's pages from the account menu: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then click Company settings. The Users page opens.
- The panel always shows the settings of the module you came from: open Settings from Catalog to see Catalog's settings, from Brain to see Brain's.
- In this documentation, a path such as Catalog > Settings > Catalog data > Attributes means: in Catalog, click Settings, click Catalog data in the panel, then click the Attributes tab.
- On screens between 1,024 and 1,280 pixels wide, only the panel is shown, without the icons of the sidebar. Settings is designed for computer screens: on narrower screens the panel isn't shown.
Find a module's settings
Each module lists its settings as groups in the panel, under the module's name. A group of a section your company doesn't use doesn't appear, and in Brain the pages you don't have permission for are hidden.
| Module | Groups in the panel | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Catalog | Catalog data, Data flows, Search, Assets, Atomo | Catalog settings |
| Brain | Company, People & access, Automations & AI, Data, Integrations | Brain configuration |
| Commerce | Stores and Customer care, plus the Orders groups for companies that use Nucleo Orders | Stores and Customer care |
| Intelligence | Connectors & sync | What's available today |
Manage your company's users
Users lists the people of your company with their company role, the modules they can open, their status and their last sign-in. From here you add people, change their roles and module access, resend invitations and remove people from the company.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Settings > Users.
- To add someone, click Add person. To change someone's access, click their row.
If you administer more than one company, the list shows the people of all of them together. Each procedure is described in Adding people and Managing people and companies.
See your plan and request a change
Plan shows the plan of each module active for your company: Starter, Growth, Scale or Enterprise. Each module has its own plan. The plan comes from your contract with Nucleo, so you don't change it here: you ask for a change and the Nucleo team gets back to you.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Settings > Plan. Plan by module lists each active module with its current plan, or No plan.
- Next to the module, select the plan you'd like.
- Click Request change.
Nucleo confirms Request sent to the Nucleo team, and the module shows Requested: <plan> — waiting for the Nucleo team until the change is made. The plan shown doesn't change until then.
Set up Atomo for your company
Atomo holds your company's settings for the assistant, the same for every module. It has four tabs:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Usage | Tokens used this month and today, the number of requests, and the split by module. |
| Status and limit | Turn Atomo on or off for the whole company, and set a monthly limit of tokens. |
| Instructions | The tone, language and words Atomo should use for your company, in every module. |
| Keys and models | With the Enterprise plan: your own AI provider keys and a model for each task. |
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo. The Usage tab opens.
- Click the tab you need.
Each setting is described in Atomo settings for your company.
See and add your company's connections
Connections gathers in one page the systems your company has connected to Nucleo in every module: sales channels and marketplaces in Catalog, mailboxes, calendars and accounting in Brain, the helpdesk in Commerce. Each connection is still configured in the module that owns it.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Settings > Connections.
- Read Connected: one row per active connection, with its status, its last activity and the module it belongs to. Connections marked Personal belong to one person, such as their own mailbox.
- To open a connection, click its row. Its details and settings open in place of the list.
- To add a connection, go to Library:
- Click All, or the tab of a module, to see the connectors that module supports.
- Optional: type in Search connectors… to find one by name or category.
- Click the button on the connector's tile, Add for a Catalog connector or Connect for a Brain one, and follow the steps for that system.
- To go back to the list from a connection, click Back to Connections.
- A tile marked Managed by Nucleo is set up by the Nucleo team for you: ask them. A tile marked Soon isn't available yet.
- Adding a Catalog connector needs the Admin role in Catalog. Without it, the Add button of Catalog tiles is greyed out.
- If a module's connections can't be shown to you, a line at the top of the page says so, for example when you don't have access to that module.
- How each connection works is described in its module: Catalog connectors, Shopify and Brain connections.
Choose which modules use a connection
A connection belongs to one module, its owner, where it's configured. You decide which other modules of your company can use its data as well.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Settings > Connections.
- Under Connected, click the connection.
- In Available in modules, find the module. The module that owns the connection is marked Owner.
- Turn the module's switch on to let it use the connection, or off to stop it.
The change is saved immediately. Nucleo confirms, for example, Commerce can now use this connection.
Considerations for Settings
- Users, Plan and Atomo apply to the company selected at the top of the sidebar. To manage another company, switch to it first.
- Your company's pages appear only to people whose company role is Admin. If you need a change there, ask one of them. See Roles and permissions.
- Settings pages save with the Unsaved changes bar, like every form in Nucleo. See Work with page headers and saving.
- Your name, language, theme and notification preferences are in your Profile, from the account menu: see Your account.
