Atomo settings for your company

Company administrators adapt Atomo to their company in Settings > Atomo: they follow its usage, switch it on or off, set how far it can go each month, and tell it how to write and which words to use. These settings are the same for every module, and Nucleo updates never overwrite them.

The page has four tabs: Usage, Status and limit, Instructions and Keys and models. You need the Admin company role to open it. See Settings.

What Atomo should know about your products, such as your catalog's rules and terminology, is set in Catalog instead: see What Atomo knows about your catalog. Brain keeps some Atomo settings of its own: see Atomo AI settings.

Follow Atomo's usage

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo. The Usage tab opens.
  2. Read the figures at the top and Usage by module below.
FigureWhat it shows
This monthTokens used by the whole company since the first day of the month. With a monthly limit, it shows how much of the limit is used, and turns amber at 90%.
TodayTokens used today.
RequestsHow many requests were made to Atomo this month.
Usage by moduleTokens used this month in each module, with a bar for its share. Empty until Atomo is used: Atomo hasn't been used this month yet.
Note
Usage is shown in tokens, the unit AI services count text in, never in costs.

Turn Atomo on or off for your company

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo.
  2. Click the Status and limit tab.
  3. Turn the Atomo for the company switch on or off.

The change is saved immediately and applies to every module the company uses. When Atomo is off, nobody in the company can use it, in any module: the panel still opens, and answers that Atomo is turned off.

Set a monthly limit

A monthly limit stops Atomo when the company has used a given number of tokens in the month. It starts again on the first day of the next month.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo.
  2. Click the Status and limit tab.
  3. In Monthly limit, enter a whole number of tokens. Leave it empty for no limit.
  4. Click Save in the Unsaved changes bar.
  • The limit counts everything Atomo does for the company, in every module, including work that runs on your own keys.
  • When the limit is reached, people who ask Atomo something get a message saying the company has reached its monthly limit, and that an administrator can raise it here.
Tip
Before setting a limit, look at This month on the Usage tab over a couple of months, so the limit doesn't stop your team in the middle of the month.

Give Atomo your company's instructions

Instructions tell Atomo how to work for your company: the tone to use, the language, the words to use or avoid. Atomo follows them in every module, in chat and by voice.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo.
  2. Click the Instructions tab.
  3. In Instructions, write your rules, for example Always use our brand's terminology or Write product copy in a friendly, informal tone.
  4. Click Save in the Unsaved changes bar at the bottom of the page.
  • Instructions can be up to 30,000 characters long.
  • They add to what Atomo already knows: they don't replace Atomo's standard instructions, which Nucleo keeps up to date.
  • To remove your instructions, clear the field and save.

Use your company's own AI key

By default, Atomo runs on Nucleo's own AI accounts and Nucleo chooses the models. With the Enterprise plan, your company can add its own key for one or more of the supported AI providers: Claude, GPT and Gemini. Without Enterprise, the Keys and models tab describes what the plan adds and links to See plans.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo.
  2. Click the Keys and models tab.
  3. Under API keys, find the provider's card. It says Atomo uses Nucleo's key and Not set when no key of yours is saved. To get a key, click the link at the bottom of the card, which opens the provider's site.
  4. Paste the key in the card's field.
  5. Click Save on the card.

Nucleo confirms Key saved. From then on, Atomo uses your key for the work that goes through that provider, and the spend is charged to your provider account. The card shows Your key with a short fingerprint of the key, so you can tell which key is in use.

  • To replace the key, paste a new one in the same field and click Save.
  • To go back to Nucleo's key, click Remove on the card, then Remove key to confirm.
Caution
Once saved, a key can't be read back: Nucleo shows only its fingerprint. Keep a copy in your company's password manager.

Choose the models Atomo uses

With the Enterprise plan, Models on the Keys and models tab lists each kind of task Atomo performs, such as chat, analysis, translations or images, with the provider and model it uses. A badge tells you whether the task follows Nucleo's choice or Your choice.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Settings > Atomo, then click the Keys and models tab.
  2. Under Models, in the task's row, select the Provider.
  3. Select the Model.
  4. Click Save in the Unsaved changes bar.

To go back to Nucleo's choice for a task, click the reset icon in its row (Use Nucleo's).

Tip
Leave the models on Nucleo's choice unless you have a specific reason to change them. Nucleo keeps its choices up to date.

Considerations for Atomo settings

  • These settings belong to the company selected at the top of the sidebar. If you administer several companies, set each one separately.
  • The rule on when Atomo asks first is the same for every company and isn't part of these settings.
  • Atomo always answers in each person's own language, set in their profile. Your instructions can be written in any language.
  • To move to the Enterprise plan, request a change in Settings > Plan.
