Your team
Team lists the people who work for your company: employees, contractors and interns, with their contact details, role and start date. You find it under Brain > People > Team.
Everyone with an email address on your company's domain appears in the team automatically. Anyone else, such as a freelancer with their own address, joins when you add them. Every team member stays a contact, so their history, and their CV if they applied, stays with them.

Add a team member
A team member is always an existing contact. If the person isn't in Brain yet, create the contact first.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > People > Team.
- Click Add member.
- In Search contacts by name or email, type at least two characters, and then click the person in the results.
- In Type, select Employee, Contractor (freelance) or Intern.
- In Start date, pick the day they started.
- Optional: in Role, type their job title, such as
Frontend developer. - Click Add to the team.
The person appears in the team straight away, and stays a contact with all their history.
Record that someone left the team
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > People > Team.
- Find the person, and then click Left the team on their row.
- In End date, pick their last day.
- Click Confirm.
The person moves to Former members and stays available as a contact. If they apply again later, they become a candidate again. In Former members, people who had applied before joining are marked was a candidate.
Considerations for the team
- Being in the team and using Brain are two different things. A team member signs in to Brain only when an admin activates them in Users and roles.
- Shared addresses on your domain, such as
info@, are listed in Aliases, never in the team. - To change someone's phone number or job title, edit their contact.
