Finding and reading pages

Knowledge > Pages lists the documentation you can see, area by area. Search looks inside the text of every page and shows you the most relevant passages while you type, so you find the answer, not just the page.

Browse and filter pages

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Brain > Knowledge > Pages.
  2. In the left column, click an area, or All areas to see every area together.
  3. Optional: Click the filters icon and narrow the list:
    1. Status: Published (the default), Drafts, Scheduled, Archived or All. Drafts, scheduled and archived pages appear only for the areas you own.
    2. Type: All types, or Procedure, Policy, Guide, Reference, Decision, FAQ or Template.
    3. Owner: Anyone or one person.
    4. Review: Any, or To review (7 days) for pages whose review date is within a week or already past.

Search Knowledge

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Brain > Knowledge > Pages.
  2. In Search titles and text, type your question or a few words.
  3. Once you've typed at least 3 characters, Best passages appears above the list with the most relevant excerpts from across the pages, each with the section it comes from.
  4. Click the title of a passage, or a row in the list, to open the page.

The table below keeps filtering pages by title and text. Search only covers the pages you're allowed to see, and drafts and archived pages aren't included in Best passages.

Tip
You can also ask Atomo. It searches Knowledge the same way and cites the page it relies on. When nothing matches, it says so and suggests proposing a page instead of guessing.

Read a page

A page shows its text next to About this page, a card with:

  • Owner, Author, Published and Review by (marked overdue or soon when the date is past or close).
  • Related pages. Pages marked suggested are picked by Nucleo from shared tags, the same area or similar content; the others were linked by hand.
  • Versions: the earlier versions, up to the last 30, with who made each change and what changed.

Every page can have an English and an Italian version. If your Nucleo is in Italian and a page has no Italian translation yet, it shows the English text with a note.

Compare or restore an earlier version

Steps

  1. Open the page and, in Versions, click a version. A window compares it with the current version.
  2. Optional: If you own the area, click Restore this version to bring it back. Otherwise, click Close.

Restoring creates a new version, so the version you replaced stays in the history.
