Image packages

Marketplaces want product photos in a precise shape. An image package takes the photos of a sales channel and builds a ZIP ready to upload: each product's cover named by its item code, one folder per product with its photos numbered, and every image under 2000 px upscaled to 2000 px, the marketplace minimum.

Packages are built in Catalog > Settings > Data flows > Exports, in the Export image package card, or from the product list for the products you select. You need the owner or admin role.

Build an image package

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Catalog > Settings > Data flows, and then click the Exports tab.
  2. In Export image package, pick the Channel.
  3. Under Filter by SKUs (optional), choose the products:
    1. Paste SKUs, one per line or comma-separated.
    2. Or click Import CSV to load them from a file. Click Clear to start over.
    3. Or leave the box empty to export the whole channel.
  4. Click Generate.

The package is built in the background and appears in the history below, first as Queued, then Processing and Done. The package includes the photos assigned to that channel.

Note
One package at a time is built for your company. If one is already being generated, wait for it to finish.

Build a package from the product list

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Catalog > Catalog > Products.
  2. Select the products on the page.
  3. Click More actions > Images, and pick the channel.
  4. Click Open Export in the confirmation to follow the package.
Note
Images needs products selected on the page. It isn't available when you selected every product matching the filters.

Download a package and read its report

Each package in the history shows its Channel, Status, Content (products, images and size, how many images were upscaled to 2000px, how many are still below it, and how many products have no images), and when it was Created.

  • Click Download to get the ZIP. The link is valid for 7 days; the date shows next to it, and afterwards the row says link expired.
  • Click Report to see how many products were Searched, how many are OK and how many have Errors, with the Problem detail, such as products without an image on the channel or unreadable images. The full detail is also inside the ZIP.
Tip
If a package expired, generate it again: the history keeps the past packages for reference.

Delete a package

Click the delete icon of a package and confirm with Delete. A package can't be deleted while it's being built.

Caution
Deleting a package removes the ZIP, and any link you've shared stops working.

Considerations for image packages

  • The package takes the photos assigned to the channel. To give a channel the photos of another one, see Pull photos from another channel.
  • Products without photos on the channel are listed in the report, so you can fix them before sending the package.
  • Check the SKUs you paste: if none of them is in the catalog, the package covers the whole channel.
  • Photos also live in the asset library, where they can be shared and delivered in other formats. See Delivery presets.
