Atomo settings in Brain
Brain > Settings > Automations & AI > Atomo decides how AI runs in Brain for your company. The settings apply to Brain only and override the platform defaults. The page has two tabs: Engine, for the AI switch and your keys, and Tasks, for each automatic AI activity.
Only people with the permission to manage system settings, by default Owners and Admins, can open this page. Others see Restricted.
Turn AI on or off
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Settings > Automations & AI > Atomo.
- In the Engine tab, in General, turn AI enabled on or off.
- Click Save settings.
Use your company's own AI provider key
By default, Atomo runs on Nucleo's platform engine, with a spending cap and usage tracked per company. If your company has its own account with an AI provider, you can paste its key instead: every activity that goes through that provider then uses your key, and the spend is on your account. The panel Your company's keys, otherwise Nucleo says which one Atomo uses right now.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Settings > Automations & AI > Atomo.
- In the Engine tab, find the panel of your AI provider.
- In API key, paste your company's key.
- Optional: click Refresh models, and then pick the Classifier model, Chat model and Data quality model.
- Click Save settings.
Once a key is saved, the field shows only its last characters. To keep it, leave the field empty when you save again. Without a key, the field says that the platform's keys are used.
Switch automatic AI activities on or off
Beyond the chat, Brain runs AI activities on its own, without asking for a confirmation: classifying incoming emails, preparing Home suggestions, enriching companies, reading contract terms from PDFs, creating deals from emails, extracting quotes, drafting project plans from contracts, titling calls, indexing Knowledge, normalizing industries and finding duplicates, among others. Tasks lists each one.
Steps
- In Nucleo, go to Brain > Settings > Automations & AI > Atomo.
- Click the Tasks tab.
- On the activity's card, switch it Enabled or Disabled.
A disabled activity stops running for your company. The rest of Brain keeps working without it: for example, with email classification off, emails still arrive but aren't sorted.
Customize an activity's instructions
Each AI activity follows a prompt: the instructions it gives the AI. You can adapt it to your company.
Steps
- In the Tasks tab, on the activity's card, click Show prompt. The label says whether the prompt is the default or customized.
- Edit the text. Keep the placeholders in braces, such as
{hint}or{body}: Brain fills them in when the activity runs. - Click Save prompt.
To go back to the original instructions, click Reset to default. Apply defaults, at the top of the tab, resets every activity to its recommended settings.
