The Home page

Home is not a dashboard. It's where Catalog tells you what it did on its own and what needs a decision from you: gaps in your data, photos that contradict a field, words shoppers search for and don't find, sizes that run small according to returns.

To open it, go to Catalog > Home. The page opens with a greeting, today's date and how many findings Atomo has for you, followed by a row of key figures. Below, the left column holds While you were away and What Atomo proposes; the right column holds Connections.

Read the key figures

Each figure under the greeting is a link to the page that explains it:

FigureWhat it countsOpens
ProductsThe size of your catalog, and how many products are sellable.The product list
Searches not foundSearches on your storefront that returned nothing.Search > Queries
Proposals to signValues proposed by Atomo that wait for a person to approve them.Enrichment
Returns, empty fieldsWhere returns point to an attribute that is still empty.Enrichment
Note
A figure shows no data or no orders when Nucleo hasn't received that kind of data yet, for example before your storefront sends search events.

See what happened while you were away

While you were away summarizes the work Catalog did on its own since your last visit, with the time range it covers. Depending on your setup it can include:

  • orders read from Shopify;
  • new proposals and proposed description phrases;
  • new alerts;
  • refreshed merchandising signals and fit information;
  • updated customer profiles;
  • the search index rebuilt, with the number of documents.

When nothing happened, the block doesn't appear.

Work through what Atomo proposes

What Atomo proposes is the queue you start the day from. Findings are Sorted by urgency in three groups: Do now, Today and When you can. Only the first group with findings is open; click a group to open or close it. A finding marked Serious needs attention first.

Typical findings include past-season products with no stock left, SEO never filled in, attributes with gaps, a photo that shows a different color from the one declared, options that look like duplicates, products with a single image, negative stock, words that shoppers search for and don't find, and items that run small or large according to returns.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Catalog > Home.
  2. Optional: to see findings from one source only, click catalog, photos, orders or search above the queue. Each chip shows how many findings it holds, and only the sources with findings appear. Click All to see everything again.
  3. Read a finding. Each card says what Atomo found and how many items it concerns, what changes if you accept (If you accept: or What changes:) and Where it comes from:.
  4. Do one of the following:
    1. Click the main button of the card, such as Open them in the catalogue or Review the proposals. It takes you to the page where you act, already filtered.
    2. Click With Atomo to open the assistant with the finding as context, and decide the details together.
    3. Click Ignore to set the finding aside.
Note
Nothing is applied from Home. Changes that touch many products are made on the page the button opens, where you can see the products before you change them.

Set aside or restore a finding

Ignore sets a finding aside for everyone in the company, not just for you. It stays hidden when you reload the page, and comes back only if the problem grows by more than half: setting aside 22 products with a contradictory color means "I've seen these 22", not "never show me colors again".

Steps

  1. On a finding, click Ignore. A set aside counter appears at the bottom of the queue.
  2. To bring it back, click the set aside counter and then click Put it back next to the finding.
Note
Owners, admins and editors can set findings aside. Viewers see the queue without the Ignore button. The Put it back list shows the findings you set aside during the current visit.

Check your connections

Connections lists what talks to your catalog, and when it last did. There is one group per sales channel, such as your Shopify store, and a Nucleo group for the work Nucleo does on its own. Only the first group is open; the dots next to each group name show the status of its rows, so you can spot a problem without opening it.

RowWhat it tells you
Shopify catalogHow many products are linked to your store.
Shopify ordersHow many orders Nucleo has read, and how many order lines have no matching product.
Published productsHow many products are assigned to the channel, or channel off when the channel is paused.
ConnectorThe connector behind the channel.
Search indexWhen the search index was last rebuilt, and with how many documents.
Storefront searchSearches received in the last 24 hours and how many found nothing.
Merchandiser signalsHow many items have return rate, momentum and margin signals.
Customer profilesHow many customer profiles and events Nucleo holds.

Each row shows a green dot when everything is fine, a red dot with the reason when the last run failed, and never ran when it hasn't run yet. Click a row to open the page behind it.
