Navigating Commerce

Commerce keeps all its areas in one sidebar: the Home at the top, then one group per area. This article shows how to open Commerce, what the Home tells you, what each group of the sidebar contains, where the settings live and what is available today.

Note
Commerce works on the active company. If you work for more than one company, everything you see — tickets, stores, movements, settings — belongs to the company selected at the top of the sidebar. See Switching companies and modules.

Open Commerce

Steps

  1. Sign in to Nucleo. See Signing in.
  2. At the top of the sidebar, click the workspace selector (the name of the module you're in).
  3. Select Commerce.

Commerce opens on its Home. Every other area is one click away in the sidebar.

Note
If Commerce isn't in the workspace selector, it isn't enabled for your account in the active company. Ask an owner or admin of your company to give you access. See Adding people.

Read the Commerce Home

The Home is the first entry of the sidebar. It greets you, shows today's date and a line about what Commerce is for, then gives you a few starting points:

ElementWhat it shows
Open ticketsThe number of open Customer care tickets. Click it to open the ticket list on Open. It appears only when Customer care is active for your company and answers.
Ask AtomoSuggested questions about orders, stores and tickets, such as What's in transit to the stores?. Each one opens Atomo with the question already written. See Atomo in Commerce.
Note
When order management is switched on for your company, the Home also shows the day's order figures and the issues that need attention. Without it, or when the order data doesn't answer, the Home shows only what is described above.

Find your way around the sidebar

The sidebar shows the Home, then one group per area, in this order. Each group lists its pages:

GroupPagesWhat it's for
—HomeThe starting page of Commerce. See Read the Commerce Home.
OrdersOrdersThe home of order management, until it's switched on for your company. See Orders.
StoresMovements (All movements, In transit), Stock (Stock levels, Stock counts), AlertsStock and transfers of your store network, read from Shopify. See Stores and locations.
Customer careDashboard, Tickets (Open, Opened by me, Assigned to me, Closed), Customer requests, AnalyticsInternal tickets between your customer service and your operational teams, and the conversations your customers start on your helpdesk. See Customer care.

A page with sub-pages, such as Tickets or Stock, opens its first view when you click it; click the arrow next to it to show or hide its sub-pages. The numbers next to Open, Opened by me and Assigned to me update on their own every minute.

Note
An area that isn't active for your company doesn't appear in the sidebar at all. Areas are switched on and off per company.

Open the settings of an area

Settings in Commerce belong to an area, not to the whole module. They open in the Settings panel, next to the sidebar: your organization at the top, then one entry for each Commerce area that has settings. Each entry opens a page whose tabs are the settings of that area.

Steps

  1. In Nucleo, go to Commerce.
  2. At the bottom of the sidebar, click Settings. The panel opens on the first area with settings, usually Stores.
  3. In the panel, under Commerce, click Stores or Customer care.
  4. Click the tab you need.

Customer careGeneral, Atomo, Email, Teams & members, Markets, clients & tags, GorgiasManaged for your company by the Nucleo team. See Customer care configuration.

Orders has no entry in the panel: there's nothing to configure in it yourself.

Tip
To go back to the page you were working on, click the arrow at the top of the panel.

Atomo in Commerce

In Commerce, Atomo does its real work inside Customer care: on a customer request, Prepare with Atomo reads the conversation and fills in the ticket for you to check. See Customer requests.

Note
The Atomo button at the bottom right opens in Commerce too, and the suggested questions of the Home open it, but Atomo can't read your Commerce data yet: it replies that this area has no AI backend. Use it in Catalog and Brain. See Using Atomo.
