Signing in and out

Nucleo lives at app.nucleoplatform.com. One sign-in opens every company and module you have access to, and keeps you signed in as you move between them.

There is no public sign-up. If you don't have an account yet, ask an administrator of your company to add you: you'll receive an invitation email. See Accepting an invitation.

Sign in with email and password

Steps

  1. Go to app.nucleoplatform.com.
  2. In Work email, enter the email address your company registered for you.
  3. In Password, enter your password. To check what you typed, click the eye icon in the field.
  4. Click Sign in.
  5. Choose where to work:
    1. If you belong to more than one company, Nucleo asks Which company?. Click the company you want. With a single company this step is skipped.
    2. Under Where would you like to go?, click the module you want to open.

The module opens on its home page. The address now carries your company's code, for example app.nucleoplatform.com/<company code>/catalog/home. You can change company or module at any time from the sidebar, without signing in again.

Note
If you picked the wrong company on the sign-in screen, click the company name above the module cards to go back to the list.

Sign in with single sign-on (Google)

If your work email is a Google account, you can sign in with Google instead of a password. Single sign-on only works for people who already have a Nucleo account: Nucleo matches your Google account to your Nucleo account by email address.

Steps

  1. Go to app.nucleoplatform.com.
  2. Click Sign in with Google at the top of the sign-in form, above or. Google's sign-in page opens.
  3. Pick your work Google account.
  4. Choose the company and the module, as with a normal sign-in.
Note
The first time you sign in with Google, Nucleo links your Google account to your Nucleo account. If you haven't uploaded an avatar, your Google profile picture is used.
Caution
If Google signs you in but Nucleo refuses you, your email has no Nucleo account yet, or it's written differently. Ask your company's administrator to add you with exactly that address.

Reset a forgotten password

Steps

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? next to the Password label.
  2. Under Reset your password, enter your Work email.
  3. Click Send reset link. If an account exists for that address, an email with a one-time link arrives within a minute.
  4. Open the email and click the link. The Choose a new password page opens.
  5. Check Work email, then enter the same password in New password and Confirm new password. It must be at least 8 characters long.
  6. Click Reset password. Nucleo confirms Password updated and takes you back to sign-in.

Tip
Didn't receive the email? Check your spam folder, or click resend the link on the confirmation screen. For security, Nucleo shows the same confirmation whether or not the address has an account.
Note
If you only ever sign in with Google, you don't need a password. You can still set one with this procedure.

Sign out

Steps

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click Log out.

You're signed out of every module and every company at once, and Nucleo returns to the sign-in page.

Considerations for signing in

  • If your password is refused, check the email address first: it must be the one your administrator used when adding you.
  • The browser tab title starts with the company you're in, so several tabs on different companies are easy to tell apart. See The Nucleo shell.
  • Your company or module access can change while you're signed in. If a module disappears from the switcher, an administrator has changed your access: see Roles and permissions.
