What Atomo can do
Atomo can answer questions about your data, find records, and make changes for you. What it can do depends on the module you're in and on your role there. This article explains the rules that are the same everywhere.
Where Atomo works
| Module | Atomo today | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Brain | Answers and acts on your CRM, inbox, tasks, knowledge, projects and, when your company links them, your websites. Voice conversations included. | Atomo in Brain |
| Catalog | Answers and acts on products and assets: creating, editing and duplicating products, filling in suggestions, bulk changes, price lists, exports. Reads the files you attach and composes views. Voice conversations included. | What Atomo can do in Catalog |
| Commerce | Prepare with Atomo on a customer request in Customer care, which drafts the work for you. The panel doesn't work on Commerce data yet. | Customer requests |
| Intelligence | Not available yet: the panel opens but doesn't work on Intelligence data. | What's available today |
When Atomo acts on its own
When a request is clear, small and easy to undo, Atomo simply does it. Examples:
- Creating, duplicating or editing a single product. Every change is saved in the product history, so you can restore the previous version.
- Filling in a product with Nucleo's suggestions.
- Changing up to 5 products at once, in up to 3 changes.
- Adding a note or a task, or updating a record in Brain.
After acting, Atomo tells you in one sentence what changed, and the page on the left opens on the result so you can check it straight away.
When Atomo asks first
Where a mistake would cost, Atomo stops and shows a card with what it's about to do: the kind of change, the products or records involved and the fields that change. Changes that can't be undone carry an Irreversible badge. Nothing happens until you click Confirm. Click Cancel, or say no, to drop it.
| Atomo asks before… | Examples |
|---|---|
| Deleting anything | Removing a product, an asset or a record. |
| Changing many items at once | Editing more than 5 products together, or making more than 3 changes in one go. |
| Replacing something entirely | Overwriting a whole record instead of editing some of its fields. |
| Heavy or outbound work | Imports and exports, publishing and syncing to channels, applying or undoing enrichment. |
| Prices that go live | Creating an active price list, or one that covers the whole catalog or more than 5 products. |
| Sending on your behalf | Sending an email or a message. Atomo shows the recipients and the text first. |
What Atomo sees
- Only the data of the company you're working in. Switching company changes what Atomo sees.
- Only what your role lets you see and do in that module. If you're a Viewer, Atomo can answer your questions but won't change anything.
- The page you're on, so it knows which record you mean.
- The files you attach to a message, in Catalog.
- The instructions your company administrators set for Atomo, such as tone and terminology. See Atomo settings for your company.

Considerations for Atomo
- Atomo doesn't generate images or videos.
- Atomo can't reach systems your company hasn't connected to Nucleo. When it searches the web, it says so and lists the sites under Sources.
- Every change Atomo makes is made in your name, exactly as if you had made it in the page.
- If a company administrator turns Atomo off for the company, it doesn't work in any module until it's turned back on.
